How to fill a punching bag - UPDATED
1. Get approximately 10 Pounds of sand and carefully put it in a thick garbage bag. Form it into a ball.
2. Wrap it further into 3-4 trash bags. (This is to protect the bag from splitting).
3. Roll the bag of sand to the bottom of the heavybag.
4. Fill the bag with old clothes and rags. Cut up large pieces of clothing to prevent lumps in the bag. Do not use anything with a zipper as it could damage the bag. You can also purchase recycle non-tox insulation from Home Depot - it is great for filling bags
5. Pack the rags down into the bag with a 2 by 4.
5. Be Patient. Take your time and fill it right the first timeNote: Over time the filling may settle in, at that point you will need to add more filling.
