Essential Training Gear

I actually don't train much at night anymore (lunch time classes now) but I am often wired at night and have trouble sleeping.

When I used to train at night I would be wired for hours and always had restless nights.

OK, what am I getting at?

I would often take over the counter sleeping pills like Unisom or Tylenol PM. They knock me out BUT leave me feeling tired as heck in the morning and groggy as can be.

You guys may already know about this but MELATONIN is a natural sleep aid. You can get it at any drug store. It is cheap, effective and leaves you refreshed in the morning - not groggy. I just take a 3mg tablet and I am feeling it within 20 minutes.

I'm sharing this because I wish someone had told me about it earlier.

There really is nothing that we need more than good sleep to help our bodies recover from the beatings we inflict upon it.
